El Tunel de Guajataca
Puerto Rico
The area around the tunnel "El Tunel de Guajataca", which is located directly at the coast between Quebradillas and Isabela, is a wonderful place for taking a walk or spending a nice afternoon or evening with your family or friends.

Apart from the beach there is also a bar which is worth a visit, not least because there are often live shows taking place. Here, you are not only offered drinks of all kinds, but can also try various typical Puerto Rican specialities.

Passing the tunnel, which was built in 1911 for sugar cane trains, you are awaited by a path leading along the rocky coast and past massive rocks lying in the water, with dramatically breaking waves. If you walk all the way to the end of the path (which will take you approximately 15 minutes), you can climb some of the rocks that lie directly in the water.

If you come here in the evening, you can experience a breathtakingly romantic sunset. This is a great experience, especially for couples and families with children. Particularly after visiting a busy beach like Crash Boat, this is the perfect place to conclude a day.
