The beach of Isla Verde, directly adjacent to Condado Beach, is visited by locals and tourists and hence boasts a wider range of entertainment and recreation offers.
Here, you can get beach deck chairs for only a couple of dollars, and the staff of the respective hotel will bring them directly to the location you choose. The numerous hotel beach bars of Isla Verde invite you to enjoy an iced Piña Colada under one of the many tropical palm trees.
There are more palm trees here, too, that are even more beautiful than the ones at
Condado Beach. At some parts of the beach the swimming area is marked off with a mesh, behind which swimming would be too dangerous, also because of sportive activities going on at the beach, like jet skiing, for example.
As this beach is visited by a great number of tourists, the recreation offers are abundant - however, prices are accordingly high. Tourists will probably take this into account when planning their holiday budget. But for islanders who wish to spend a day full of action we recommend a trip to Aguadilla, where you can also find an extensive range of offers for water sports and other activities directly at
Crash Boat Beach - but at prices that are affordable for anyone and, on top of that, at one of Puerto Rico’s most beautiful beaches.
